Bryan is French, a cheerful boy, he prepare with best men in an hotel room nearby, he’s worried because some friends are a bit late, but no surprise: Italian people are usually late, that’s our prerogative… we would be sorry to lose this record 🙂 We’ve got all the time to create a good reportage, and after preparation Bryan greets his friends that came from far away to join this special event: here’s the first toast of the day.
Majbrit is in Villa preparing and making last adjustment in make-up and coiffure. The bridesmaid arrives (she’s also groom’s sister) and the bride puts on the dress. Her dad, with his eyes full of emotion, is ready at the door, waiting to bring his daughter to the ceremony. We cross the park, it feels like a movie full of breaths and looks, and finally the guys meet at the altar. Majbrit and Bryan say yes, now they are bride and groom!
During the aperitif, we listen to speeches prepared by some guests. The location is charming, unique, surrounded by an amazing park. We make some portraits of the couple, then dinner starts. There are various habits in Denmark: when guests beat feet on the ground, or hands on the table, newlyweds must kiss standing over the chairs or under nuptial table… as you can guess, Majbrit & Bryan had to attend to guests’ requests many many times! Party carries on with the kisses to the newlyweds by all the guests, the cut of the cake, the throw of the bouquet and the light of the lanterns.
That was a wonderful day! I’m very grateful to Majbrit & Bryan for choosing me as photographer, for thanking me in the final speech and for giving me the chance to photograph that collection of emotions… it was a pleasure!
