Take a look at our photos of weddings in Biella!
In the past the gold rush took men to the Klondike on the border between Canada and Yukon in the search for gold. Nowadays, the Elvo river in the province of Biella is where people go panning for gold. This new hobby is taking both Italians and foreigners to the area around Carisio, a small town in the rice-growing area of Piedmont. But Biella is also ideal for “culture buffs” with its sanctuaries and “faith trails” with ex voto and frescoes depicting the Black Madonna, its Mediaeval villages and historic sites of great interest.
